Gone Too Soon ~ but Never Forgotten~Our Aussie Angels ~

Our very First Aussie - "Sally"  Gabrielino's Surprise Song

Sally introduced us to Aussies - and she became, very quickly, my "Heart Dog". She was smart as a whip, easily trained, understood my every mood, and was always by my side.

We wanted more of her, so, she became a Mom, and excelled at that, too, passing on her great attributes to her puppies.

But, of course, the one fault with great dogs such  as her - they never live long enough. We battled cancer, her and I, for two years, until finally, at the age of 13 yrs... we lost her battle. 

She left a gaping hole in my heart, I will never forget her...........rest peacefully, my dear friend, until we meet again at the Bridge, where I know you are  waiting for me.

And once again, we must say goodbye, to our Dear "Spirit"  - Shalimar's Jump For Joy, our Sally daughter

Spirit was as smart and loving as her dam, Sally. If one dog can take another's place, she tried to do that for us, but for way too short a time.

Spirit had the most willing-to-help attitude, as shown here being the "demo dog" for a dental clinic at the vet hospital where I work. She had the cleanest teeth in town!

Spirit also left us some loving pups, as she is the dam of our Bailey, Dolly and Maggie........

But, cancer, too, took her from us at the way too young age of 9 yrs.  

We miss her sweet loving "Spirit" everyday.

                  Their Legacy Lives on......

and they left their pawprints in our hearts~forever
